Trip to Stirling Castle

Today P1/2 enjoyed a trip to Stirling Castle.

Everyone was very excited when we spotted Stirling Castle 

high up on the hill!

We explored all areas of the castle and looked to find things

on our treasure hunt.

Look at the interesting musical instruments we found!

We had fun making lots of noise :)

Some areas of the castle were dark, cold and damp.  

Outside, and high up, we could see the view all around.

All the houses and cars looked so small!

We found lots of big cannons.

Some of us wanted to have a go at firing a cannonball
but Mrs Campbell didn't think that would be a good idea!

There was lots of interesting things to see and do.  We explored the palace, the Great Hall and the castle kitchen.
We even got to dress up!
